Mitchell Trubisky Up Then Down In Win
4 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky completed 18-of-28 passes for 190 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Bears nail-biting 17-13 win over the Giants. Trubisky could do little wrong in the first half, passing for 159 yards and two scores. His best play of the half came on a play where the fourth-year quarterback bought some time and then found rookie receiver Darnell Mooney in the end zone for a 15-yard touchdown. But Trubisky really struggled in the second half, opting to stretch the field with 50/50 passes that yielded little success. This is the second game in a row that featured Trubisky flashing competence mixed with frustrating play. He will, however, continue to have intriguing value next week against a Falcons Defense that has allowed 78 points through the first two weeks.
