Miles Sanders Listed As DNP Wednesday
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (quadriceps) was listed as a DNP on Wednesday's estimated practice report. It's a new injury for Sanders, but the Eagles could just be resting him after playing on Tuesday night. The 24-year-old had a season-high 24 carries for 120 yards in Week 13 before the bye and followed it up with 18 carries (second-most on the year) for a season-high 131 rushing yards in the Week 15 win over the Washington Football Team. Back-to-back 100-yard performances is nice, and he should continue to serve as Philly's primary back, but the presence of Jordan Howard (15 carries Tuesday) and quarterback Jalen Hurts will hurt Sanders' upside as a low-end RB2 moving forward. And it's not like you can really count on him getting into the end zone, as he has yet to score in 2021.
