Miles Mikolas Pitches Well in Friday's Quality Start
6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas pitched well on Friday, tossing seven innings while allowing just one run on six hits and two walks. He struck out three and needed 104 pitches to get through the seven innings. It was a pretty typical Mikolas start: he gave up weak contact and got out of trouble whenever he was in it. He's not a huge strikeout guy, but he's usually able to limit runs and induce weak contact. He'll take a 4.41 ERA into his next start.
