Miles Mikolas Ejected From Thursday's Game
Miles Mikolas was ejected from Thursday's game against the Chicago Cubs. He threw at Cubs outfielder Ian Happ after Happ hit catcher Willson Contreras in the head with a backswing. Mikolas beaned Happ during the next pitch and was ultimately tossed from the game. The 34-year-old threw 14 pitches, allowing one run while striking out one across 2/3 of an inning before being ejected. He owns a 4.38 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and 87 strikeouts across 127 1/3 innings. Mikolas is tentatively scheduled to face the Twins in a home start on Wednesday.
