Miles Bridges Signs Qualifying Offer For 2023-24
1 year agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges has signed a one-year, $7.9 million qualifying offer for 2023-24, clearing the way for him to become an unrestricted free agent next summer. The Hornets tried to tie down Bridges to a new deal, but the two parties were too far apart in determining the value of the 25-year-old in the current market and talks eventually broke down. Bridges' future in the NBA has been under a big question mark following his domestic violence case. He missed the whole of 2022-23 and is also suspended for the first 10 games of the new campaign. Prior to that, the Michigan State product had developed into a 20-point scorer, and Bridges should have all the motivation in the world to perform at the highest level throughout 2023-24 once he's back on the court.
