Mikko Rantanen Good To Go For Opening Night
1 year agoColorado Avalanche right wing Mikko Rantanen (lower body) returned to practice over the weekend and feels ready to go for opening night. The Avalanche start the action Wednesday in Los Angeles. Rantanen was forced to sit out a preseason game last week after picking up a lower-body injury. However, it appears that it was only a minor issue. The Finnish forward played in all 82 regular-season games last season and had his first 100-point campaign with 55 goals and 50 assists. He's set to open the season on the top line with Jonathan Drouin and Nathan MacKinnon.
