2 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Mike White (ribs) is officially listed as questionable for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Miami Dolphins. Despite the questionable tag, head coach Robert Saleh said on Friday that White will not play in a meaningless game for the Jets after he was beat up again in the Week 17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Instead, veteran Joe Flacco will close out the season under center, with Zach Wilson backing him up. White suffered five fractured ribs in Week 14 against the Buffalo Bills. The 27-year-old looked much better than Wilson in his four starts in 2022, but he'll be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and it's unclear if the Jets have interest in bringing him back to compete for the starting QB gig in 2023.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
