Mike Trout Hitless In Tuesday's Loss
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Tuesday night's 7-3 loss to the Chicago White Sox. Trout is having a bit of a down month in May with a .242 average and five home runs after hitting .308 with seven home runs in April. He's still yet to record a stolen base this season and hasn't stolen more than two bases in a season since 2019. Trout has been one of the best hitters in baseball for so long that his .876 OPS entering play Wednesday would be his lowest since his rookie season in 2011. Without the stolen bases, though, Trout is more of a borderline first-round pick in rotisserie formats than a lock for the first round like he was before.
