7 months agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Mike Soroka (forearm) felt some lingering tightness in his bruised right forearm when he played catch on Tuesday, so the plan is for him to throw off a mound on Wednesday before the club decides if he will make his next start this weekend against the Mets. X-rays came back negative over the weekend after he was hit by a pitch against the Nationals and pulled from his start early on Sunday. The 21-year-old has been excellent for fantasy owners this year with an 8-1 record, 2.07 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 63 strikeouts in 78 1/3 innings over 13 starts, so you'll want him in your lineups this weekend if he's good to go against the division-rival Mets.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
