Montreal Canadiens defenseman Mike Matheson has been ruled out indefinitely with a lower-body injury. The former Penguin just can't seem to catch a break, as he already missed the start of the season with an injury and he is getting sidelined again after playing just one game following another injury layoff. The stop-start campaign has led to Matheson playing just 10 times for the Canadiens. With David Savard (upper body) also on the shelf, the Canadiens are riding with a very thin blue line ahead of the holiday break. Neither he nor Matheson are expected to feature in the three games before the break. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
