Mike Gillislee Must Fight For Roster Spot

New England Patriots running back Mike Gillislee will be fighting for a roster spot in training camp, barring an injury to another running back on the team. First-round pick Sony Michel, Rex Burkhead and passing back James White are locks for the roster. That will leave Gillislee, Jeremy Hill, Brandon Bolden and Ralph Webb fighting for one or two spots. The Patriots could cut Gillislee with no dead money on the salary cap. He had just 383 yards and five touchdowns on 104 attempts last season and was buried on the depth chart late in the season. Gillislee is well off the fantasy radar after being a popular pick in 2017 drafts.
