7/1:It was oppressively hot across much of the United States on Sunday, but Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Mike Foltynewicz made it slightly cooler in St. Louis by fanning nine Cardinal hitters in his five innings of work. The righty allowed only a hit and walked three. Folty got the win despite the Braves bullpen turning a 6-0 game into a 6-5 nailbiter. His next start will be in Milwaukee, where there's at least a convertible roof if it gets really hot outside. Start him.--Michael Griffin - RotoBaller
