Minnesota Twins first baseman/designated hitter Miguel Sano is not among the club’s starting nine for Monday’s contest against the White Sox as he battles neck stiffness. Manager Rocco Baldelli said that Sano could be available off the bench if needed, but LaMonte Wade Jr. will hold down first base and bat fifth Monday versus righty Dylan Cease. Sano leads the Majors with 71 strikeouts through his first 43 games, but has managed to deliver a .537 SLG in that span. Additionally, Eddie Rosario will also miss the contest, with the next chance for either to return coming Tuesday against rookie Dane Dunning.--Jesse Borek
