Michael Conforto Leaves With Hamstring Tightness

San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (hamstring) was removed from Wednesday's game early against the Toronto Blue Jays due to left-hamstring tightness. The injury occurred when Conforto crashed into the outfield wall in the first inning, so he didn't even have an official at-bat in the contest before leaving. It's very possible that this injury will send the 30-year-old to the injured list, but we'll have to wait and see how he recovers in the next couple of days. Coming into the game, he was hitting .236 (56-for-237) with eight doubles, 12 home runs, 42 RBI and 39 runs scored in 70 games in his first year in the Bay Area. Austin Slater replaced Conforto in right field and would likely see added playing time if Conforto misses any time.
