Michael Carter Officially Out Against Vikings
2 years agoNew York Jets running back Michael Carter (ankle) has officially been ruled out for Week 13 against the Minnesota Vikings. Carter didn't practice this week and was listed as doubtful on Friday, so fantasy managers should have already moved him to their benches days ago. With Carter sidelined at least for this weekend, the Jets are expected to use a running-back-by-committee approach, consisting of rookie Zonovan Knight, Ty Johnson and James Robinson, who was a healthy scratch in last week's win over the Chicago Bears. Knight was impressive in his NFL debut last weekend and figures to get the "start" against Minnesota. The 21-year-old has the most fantasy upside as a plug-and-play RB3/flex in Week 13.
