Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons (ankle) may not be ready to return to action in Week 8 following their Week 7 bye, according to Garrett Podell of CBS Sports. Podell further reported that head coach Mike McCarthy expressed that "the bye week will be a big one for Parsons." Fantasy managers in IDP leagues should continue to closely monitor Parsons' status over the next two weeks, as he could be in danger of missing his third straight game. The Cowboys defense has taken a significant step back this season after being one of the best units in 2023. They have allowed at least 28 points in three games this season and have just 14 total team sacks, which is only the 16th-highest mark in football. The Dallas defense would be hard to trust without Parsons in Week 8 when they travel to San Francisco to face the 49ers and should be kept out of starting lineups in all standard formats.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
