Mets Showing Interest In Jung Hoo Lee
1 year agoThe New York Mets are looking to make upgrades to their outfield. The organization is reportedly showing interest in Korean slugger Jung Hoo Lee. Last season, Lee slashed .318/.406/.455 with six home runs, 45 RBI, and six stolen bases in 86 games in Korea. He suffered a season-ending ankle injury that required surgery. He's expected to be fine going forward and should translate into an above-average outfielder in the MLB. Lee should have multiple suitors, but the Mets are making their interest known.
