Melvin Gordon III Questionable For Week 15
3 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III (hip, thumb) was limited in practice on Friday and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Gordon sprained his thumb in the Week 14 win over the Detroit Lions, but he was able to return to the game and rushed for over 100 yards and scored twice. Both Gordon and rookie Javonte Williams (knee), who is also questionable, are both expected to play in Week 15. The 28-year-old Gordon may not look as flashy and explosive as Williams this year, but he's been getting it done as Denver's 1A backfield option for most of the campaign. Gordon will lack the upside of Williams, especially against Cincy's tough run defense, but he still has low-end RB2 appeal because of Denver's commitment to their ground attack.
