Melvin Gordon III Has Good Matchup On Tap In Week 4
4 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III was held in check against a tough Buccaneers Defense in Week 3, but he's in a prime position to bounce back on Thursday night against the Jets and their struggling defense. Gang Green has allowed 344 rushing yards and three scores on the ground through three games while also giving up 20 receptions for 137 yards and another touchdown to opposing running backs. However, Gordon's upside will be limited by the fact that quarterback Brett Rypien will be making his first career start and the fact that Phillip Lindsay (toe) could be making his return from a turf-toe injury. Consider Gordon a usage-based, low-end RB2 for fantasy managers this Thursday night.
