Melvin Gordon Finds The End Zone Again
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon had another strong day against the Raiders, and he still did what he does best, punch one into the end zone. Gordon's day on the ground wasn't terribly special as he only racked up 58 yards on 19 carries, but one of those was for a 1-yard touchdown. Gordon was called on to finish the job after defensive end Melvin Ingram was ruled short when he was brought in to give it a go. Whether Ingram was actually short or not was debatable, but fantasy owners were grateful because it allowed Gordon to snag the points instead of them getting vultured. Gordon's yardage was eventually boosted by hauling in four passes for 62 yards through the air though, getting him to 120 all-purpose yards on the day.
