4 years agoNew York Jets rookie left tackle Mekhi Becton (chest) suffered a chest injury in the Monday night game against the division-rival Patriots. Becton is one of the few bright spots on a winless Jets team, so his loss will be a big one if he can't make it back in this game or has to miss time moving forward. Quarterback Sam Darnold could face more pressure from his blind side in the second half from New England's defensive line if Becton doesn't return after halftime. The 21-year-old from Louisville is an elite and massive (6-foot-7, 369 pounds) left tackle and could be a Pro Bowler for many years to come if he can stay healthy. Update: Both Becton and cornerback Brian Poole (knee) have been ruled out for the rest of the game.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
