Max Muncy Scheduled To Return On Tuesday
4 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that third baseman Max Muncy (oblique) is scheduled to come off the injured list and rejoin the team on Tuesday during their series at Dodger Stadium against the Seattle Mariners. The Dodgers are getting healthy at the right time as they look to hold off the division-rival Arizona Diamondbacks and San Diego Padres in the National League West. Muncy, 33, could be eased in initially, but eventually, he'll be the team's regular at third base to close out the year. The left-handed slugger has been out since May 15 due to an oblique strain, but when healthy, he can provide high-end power and on-base skills for fantasy managers in all formats. Before his injury, he was hitting .223/.323/.475 with nine home runs and 28 RBI in 139 at-bats. Make sure he's not available on your league's waiver wire.
