1 year agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried, who was called up on Saturday, had a much better outing than his previous attempts. He struck out eleven St. Louis hitters over the course of his 6 2/3 innings. He did walk three, but that's small potatoes when one is staked an eight-run lead. The outing dropped his ERA all the way down to 2.55 and if manager Brian Snitker decides he deserves another chance he'll likely face Milwaukee on the road. Yeah, those Brewers who sit atop their division. It might be good to wait and see.--Michael Griffin - RotoBaller
