Toronto Maple Leafs left wing Matthew Knies (upper body) was placed on Injured Reserve, retroactive to Nov. 20. In a corresponding move, the Leafs recalled forward Alexander Nylander to the NHL roster. Knies left Wednesday's game with an upper-body injury but will now miss an extended period. Before the injury, Knies spent most of his time playing on the top unit alongside Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner and tallied 12 points (eight goals, four assists) through 20 games. With several other Toronto forwards currently sidelined, fantasy managers should expect the top six to remain relatively fluid until they receive reinforcements. Bobby McMann played on the top line in their previous match alongside John Tavares and Mitch Marner.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
