1 year agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Matthew Boyd will take the hill at home Tuesday against the Reds, a team that beat him up handily in their only meeting earlier this season. On June 19, Boyd allowed five runs in just four innings of work, and was hurt badly by three walks and a Joey Votto grand slam. Boyd owns a putrid 6.00 ERA in the month of July, but has a 3.40 home ERA on the year. Despite his solid numbers at home, he's probably one to avoid. After all, he's allowed five or more runs in four of his last seven starts.--Tyler Germain - RotoBaller
