8/24:Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Matthew Boyd has struggled for much of the 2018 season, but turned in a solid performance on Thursday. The young southpaw threw six innings against the White Sox, keeping them off the scoreboard while scattering six hits and six strikeouts and issuing just one walk. Boyd is, at best, a streaming option against teams who struggle to hit lefties, but it was still a positive sign for a player looking to finish out the season on a high note. At age 27, Boyd still has potential to become a relevant fantasy starter in the future.--Tyler Germain - RotoBaller
