Seattle Kraken center Matthew Beniers stretched his point streak to six games in Thursday's 3-2 win over Washington, scoring the team's fastest-ever overtime goal. It took him seven seconds to end the game in the extra frame. The goal is also the fastest in overtime in league history by a rookie. Beniers became the first rookie to hit double figures in goals this season, and he tops the scoring charts among first-year players with 21 points in 23 games. The 20-year-old has tallied 12 of his points during the current scoring streak. With Seattle in superb form and riding a seven-game winning streak, Beniers' hot streak might continue for a while.--Taavi Pailk
