5 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan (ankle) limped off the field in the fourth quarter in Week 7 against the Rams and has been ruled out. This one adds injury to insult for a Falcons offense that has been atrocious on Sunday against the Rams. Backup running back Ito Smith was carted off the field with a head injury and Devonta Freeman was also ejected for throwing a punch during a dustup. If Ryan is forced to miss time, Matt Schaub would be the team's starter under center. It'd be bad news for all of Atlanta's skill players, most notable receivers Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
