Matt Kuchar won the Mayakoba Classic for his eighth career PGA Tour victory and first in over four years. Kuchar was in control of the tournament throughout the weekend and entered the final round with a four-shot lead. Despite some shaky play down the stretch, the veteran managed to shoot a final-round 69, good for a one-shot victory over Danny Lee. This was a much-needed win for the 40-year-old, who suffered through poor play for most of last season and failed to qualify for the Tour Championship for the first time in eight years. Kuchar isn't in the field for the upcoming RSM Classic and will instead play in the Australian Open. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
