Martin Truex Jr. Stays Consistent At Las Vegas
2 years agoThe Toyota camp found three of their cars in the top 10 as the checkered flag dropped at Las Vegas on Sunday. We have already touched on Bubba Wallace and Christopher Bell, and the next in line was Martin Truex Jr. Truex drove his No. 19 Toyota to a seventh-place finish, which stays consistent with what we expected at this track from the veteran. Truex started 15th and captured 12 stage points in the first two stages, finishing sixth and fourth in the respective stages. He consistently ran in the top 10 all race and even had a chance to contend for the lead, but HMS was too strong on this day. Over the last three years in six races, Truex has an average finish of 8.6, and on Sunday he stayed true to form by finishing seventh.
