Markieff Morris Splashes Career-High Six Three-Pointers In Win
6 years agoWashington Wizards power forward Markieff Morris put on a shooting clinic in a win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday. He scored 28 points on 9-for-15 shooting including hitting on a career-high six three-pointers. Morris added nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 25 minutes. Morris’ efficiency was much needed as the Wizards shot just 41.8 percent as a team. However, owners should not expect nights like this often with Morris, as he will lose touches once Dwight Howard (buttock) returns. Moreover, Otto Porter may become more involved in the offense also, which could limit Morris’ role even further. Morris will look to continue his hot shooting on Wednesday night against the defending champion Golden State Warriors.
