Markieff Morris Scores 14 Points In Losing Effort
Washington Wizards power forward Markieff Morris had another efficient night on Wednesday, despite his team losing to the Golden State Warriors. Morris had 14 points on 6-for-10 shooting to go along with four rebounds, two three-pointers, and two assists, in 23 minutes. Since the game was a blowout many Wizards players did not play their usual minutes, Morris included. He at least made some decent contributions for owners in the minutes he got. Morris is now averaging a solid 15.8 points-per-game and is shooting a red-hot 53.8 percent from the field. However, for his career, Morris is a 45.2 percent shooter from the field and is due for some negative regression. Especially from three-point range, where he's shooting an unsustainable 57.9 percent. Until then, owners should continue to ride his hot shooting into Friday’s game against a Sacramento Kings team that is giving up 122.0 points-per-game this season.
