Mariners Interested In Taijuan Walker
5 years agoThe Seattle Mariners are interested in a reunion with starting pitcher Taijuan Walker (elbow) after they drafted him in the first round back in 2010. The 27-year-old right-hander would add depth to a rotation that is rebuilding, and he's still young enough to have upside if he's healthy moving forward. Walker is a bounce-back candidate after making only one relief appearance for the D-backs last year while returning from Tommy John surgery. He won't be a popular fantasy pick after throwing just 14 innings the last two seasons, but Walker has sleeper potential, especially if he returns to Seattle.
