Marcus Stroman Leaves Start With Hamstring Tightness
Marcus Stroman left his start Wednesday with left hamstring tightness, according to Tim Healey. Stroman pitched four scoreless innings but allowed five hits and only one earned run with a strikeout against the Indians before exiting the game. Stroman is having a nice season with a 3.18 ERA and 3.70 FIP but hasn't recorded a quality start now in four starts for New York. He should be considered day-to-day for now until the Mets provide an update on his injury.
