Marcus Stroman Doesn’t Provide Much Upside In the Later Rounds
10 months agoMarcus Stroman signed a two-year, $37 million contract with the New York Yankees this offseason after playing with the Chicago Cubs for two seasons. However, Stroman doesn't provide much fantasy upside later in drafts in 2024. Last year, he had a 3.95 ERA and 119 strikeouts across 136.2 innings pitched. The 32-year-old pitcher does have a career 3.65 ERA and has finished under that mark in three of the past four seasons. But his strikeout numbers have always been low, and his 3.4 BB/9 last year was a career-high. Stroman has a career 7.5 K/9 and 1.253 WHIP. Those are not appealing enough in the later rounds.
