Boston Red Sox shortstop prospect Marcelo Mayer hit his fourth home run of the season since being promoted to Double-A Portland. He missed a home run in his previous at-bat, being robbed at the fence by outfielder Johan Rojas in the at-bat before his home run. After starting the season with a .890 OPS in 35 games with High-A Greenville, the 2021 first-round pick carries a .157/.228/.371 line with three stolen bases, 10 runs, and nine RBI in 18 games with Portland. The top prospect is far from the majors, but his impressive offensive skills make him one of the top prospects in dynasty leagues.
