4 years agoFree agent center Marc Gasol is signing a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. L.A. also traded away JaVale McGee on Sunday, paving the way for Gasol to start at the five for the Lakers. He's a huge addition to this team when it comes to real life, where he might make them the favorites to win their second consecutive NBA championship. In fantasy, though, he likely has his ceiling capped by the presence of backup big Montrezl Harrell, who'll be on the court plenty. Gasol's 2019-20 averages of 7.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game seem like a good starting point for figuring out his production this year.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
