2 years agoThe Orlando Magic traded down in the 2018 NBA Draft to take Maryland forward Justin Jackson with the 43rd pick. Jackson showed promise in his first year at Maryland, but his second season ended prematurely with a shoulder issue. Jackson has potential on both the offensive and defensive end, but right now on offense he's a spot-up shooter who won't consistently hit jump shots. Time will tell if Jackson is capable of being a guy who can stretch the floor and possibly play at center in small-ball lineups, but his rookie-year projection is a lot of development time and not many minutes on an NBA floor.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
