2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders wide receiver Mack Hollins (heel) has been banged up all week, but has a chance at playing against the Houston Texans on Sunday. There is optimism that Hollins will be able to suit up in Week 7. The 29-year-old could see more action with the Raiders limited in terms of offensive weapons. Fellow wide receiver Hunter Renfrow (hip) is expected to suit up, which would limit the upside of Hollins. Regardless, Hollins should be considered a low-end WR4 for the upcoming Week 7 contest, assuming he's able to play.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

2 months agoESPN's Dan Graziano writes that the Houston Texans might look to fill in around No. 1 wide receiver Nico Collins this offseason with more targeted, role-oriented acquisitions. Graziano mentions Buffalo Bills impending unrestricted free-agent wideout Mack Hollins specifically as a potential target for Houston. Many teams like what the Bills did at receiver in 2024 by adding role-player types like Hollins that are more than willing to do the dirty work. Houston's acquisition of Stefon Diggs last offseason didn't work out after he suffered a season-ending torn right ACL. In addition to Diggs' injury, Tank Dell also suffered a season-ending knee injury that could keep him out for all of 2025, so the Texans will need to retool their wideout room this offseason. Hollins had only 378 receiving yards on 31 receptions for Buffalo, but he did add a career-high five touchdowns in 17 regular-season games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

2 months agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins caught three of his four targets for 73 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's AFC Championship loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran receiver's biggest play of the game came on a 34-yard touchdown strike from Josh Allen. While Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman were the top names in Buffalo's wide receiver corps this year, Hollins quietly put together a strong campaign. Not only did he register 482 receiving yards between the regular season and playoffs, but he also led the entire Bills roster with six receiving touchdowns. The 31-year-old is slated to hit unrestricted free agency in March, and Hollins' impressive 2024 campaign could encourage prospective teams to view him as a strong No. 3 wide receiver option moving forward.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

2 months agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins remains an unappealing fantasy option heading into Sunday's AFC Championship against the Kansas City Chiefs. While Hollins is actually the Bills' receiving touchdowns leader — he had five during the regular season — he hasn't carved out enough volume to justify deploying him in fantasy leagues or bet slips week in and week out. The 31-year-old has just one catch in each of the Bills' two playoff games, and he only had a pair of receptions when Buffalo hosted the Chiefs back in Week 11. If there's anything working in Hollins' favor, it's the fact that the Chiefs allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to slot receivers from Weeks 12 to Week 17. Hollins ranked 42nd among NFL receivers in slot snaps this year, which is impressive considering he ranked just 69th in total snaps. Extra slot opportunities could give him a slightly higher ceiling this week, but his low volume is still just too concerning, especially as Khalil Shakir handles most of the slot snaps.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

2 months agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins hauled in 1-of-2 targets for 12 yards in Sunday night's 27-25 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. Hollins saw a target on the Bills' first play from scrimmage -- a deep shot up the left sideline ~30 yards down-field that quarterback Josh Allen put just beyond his fingertips. Though, it is worth noting that he short-armed it a bit. The 31-year-old's next -- and last target -- would come midway through the fourth, and he was fired up about it after gaining a first down. With Allen attempting just 22 passes and Buffalo's ground game scoring all three touchdowns, he and the other pass-catchers were not needed much besides fellow wideout Khalil Shakir (6/67). He'll get another shot at production against the Chiefs in the Conference Championship but will be tough to trust as a reliable option with only two post-season receptions.--Alex Ciulla
