1 year agoNew England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones isn't taking part in warmups on Thursday before the team's preseason opener. It's not a surprise, as Jones wasn't expected to play n the team's first preseason game this week. With Jones likely sitting, Bailey Zappe, Trace McSorley and Malik Cunningham will be New England's quarterbacks on Thursday against the Houston Texans. The 24-year-old Jones could get some work in the team's second preseason game on Aug. 19 against the Green Bay Packers. In a make-or-break year, Jones can't really go anywhere but up after last year's debacle on offense. However, his fantasy ceiling remains pretty low as a low-end QB2 without many explosive options to throw to.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
