Luka Doncic Collects His 50th Triple-Double
2 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic became the 10th player in NBA history with at least 50 triple-doubles, racking up 33 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in Friday's blowout victory over Denver. He reached the milestone in his 278th career game and only Oscar Robertson has needed fewer games (111) to record 50 triple-doubles. Doncic's stat line also included one steal and two turnovers, and he shot 11-for-22 from the field and 9-for-11 at the foul line with a 2-for-7 record from downtown. The Mavericks superstar is having a spectacular year, averaging 34.3 points per game with 9.1 rebounds and 8.1 assists, and he will be aiming to crush the Nuggets again Sunday.
