Luis Robert Jr.'s Season Could Be Over
Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. (knee) could be headed to the injured list with outfielder Tyler Naquin expected to join the team this week from Triple-A Charlotte. Robert, who has played in 145 games this year, left Sunday's game against the Boston Red Sox with a sore left knee, although it's not believed to be serious. However, with less than a week in the 2023 season, Robert would miss the rest of the year if he goes on the injured list. The 26-year-old has had a breakout season for the Pale Hose this year, slashing .264/.315/.542 with an .857 OPS while setting career-highs in home runs (38), doubles (36), RBI (80), stolen bases (20) and runs scored (90) in 595 plate appearances as a first-time All-Star.
