San Francisco Giants outfielder Luis Matos went 0-for-4 on Monday versus the Seattle Mariners and is now hitting a weak .226 with one homer, four RBI, two stolen bases and nine strikeouts over 18 games. The 21-year-old was on fire in Triple-A prior to his promotion and remains of the more exciting all-around prospects, but his struggles may lead to a demotion if he can't get it going shortly. Matos has been playing everyday and has plenty of opportunity with Mitch Haniger (forearm) set to be sidelined for most of the second half, but he will need to start picking it up if he plans to remain in the big leagues.
