Logan Webb Pitches Eight Scoreless Innings in Monday's No-Decision
Logan Webb turned in an excellent start but came away with a no-decision in Monday's 1-0 extra-inning loss to the Padres. Webb turned in eight scoreless innings, allowing six hits and no walks with seven strikeouts. He also hit a batter. Unfortunately, the Giants were unable to provide any run support for the 28-year-old. Webb has had a career season to this point, going 5-5 with a 2.55 ERA, a 1.17 WHIP, and a 10.07 K/9 rate in 13 starts and 81 1/3 IP. He has seen a significant uptick in his strikeouts, with his 91 punchouts currently fifth most in all of baseball. He will look to keep that trend going in his next scheduled start, which will be a decent matchup against the Braves.
