8/30:The Detroit Lions have been giving running back Ameer Abdullah a lot of run with the first-team offense in the preseason and training camp, and it may be so that they can showcase him to teams for a potential trade. Abdullah is currently behind LeGarrette Blount, rookie Kerryon Johnson and third-down back Theo Riddick on the depth chart. If they can't find a taker for Abdullah at a decent value, they could decide to keep him around. ESPN's Michael Rothstein would not be surprised if Abdullah is cut, kept or traded. Abdullah might come into some fantasy value if he's traded to a team that could use him more.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
