Leon Edwards Looks To Defend Crown On Saturday
2 years agoLeon Edwards (20-3) will look to not only take the rubber match from Kamaru Usman, but more importantly defend his UFC welterweight championship on Saturday. After earning the championship by way of TKO victory in a five-round battle at UFC 278 in August of last year, Edwards will make his first title defense. Able to mix it up to earn a victory, 10 of his 20 career victories have come by finish, with seven of them coming via knockout/TKO. DraftKings sees the champion as the underdog, though, with a salary of $7,300. Throughout his UFC career (15 bouts), he averages 70.9 fantasy points per contest. Usman will come into this one hungry with redemption on his mind. Look for Edwards to have to fend off a lot of wrestling in this fight.
