Landon Knack Getting Another Start This Week
8 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitching prospect Landon Knack will make another start on Wednesday versus the Washington Nationals on the road. Knack, 26, made his major-league debut last week against these very same Nats in a start and allowed two earned runs on four hits (one homer) while walking one and striking out four in five innings in a loss. Knack won't be the worst sleeper streamer against a weak Nationals lineup for Wednesday's slate, but there's also a fair amount of risk for a pitcher making his second MLB start on the road. Knack is listed as LA's No. 13 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, and is most likely to head back to the minor leagues to fine-tune his arsenal when Walker Buehler (elbow) is finally able to make his season debut after missing all of 2023 due to Tommy John surgery.
