Lance Lynn Strikes Out Seven Over Five Scoreless Innings

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn earned his sixth win of the year in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles. He pitched five innings and allowed three hits, no walks and no earned runs while striking out seven. He's now 6-1 on the year with a 1.37 ERA and 0.93 WHIP. He's failed to make it past five innings in four of his past six starts, but he is continually limiting baserunners and run scoring while racking up solid strikeouts, making it hard to complain about the length of his outings. His next start will be on Friday against the Detroit Tigers.
