2 years agoCharlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle, wrist) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. This was expected considering Ball was listed as doubtful heading into this game. His absence means that Dennis Smith Jr. should move into the starting five. Also, Gordon Hayward (hamstring) has been cleared to play, so he'll take on a bigger role in the offense. Both Smith and Hayward appear to be strong streaming options while Ball is out.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
