Lamar Jackson Misses Practice Due To Illness

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (illness) missed practice Thursday due to a stomach bug. Speculation circled that his missed practice was due to a hip injury that he suffered during his touchdown flip into the end zone against the Kansas City Chiefs, but it turns out that it was a non-COVID-19 illness. Jackson will "be fine," so fantasy managers have little to worry about in terms of their quarterback slot. In his upcoming matchup against the Detroit Lions, the former MVP is ranked among the top quarterbacks for Week 3. Fantasy managers should expect Jackson to put up massive numbers thanks to his phenomenal rushing ability in conjunction with the Lions' inability to stop the run through the first two weeks.
